VHT Camouflage Paints

1. Clean surface thoroughly. Remove grease, oil, loose paint, rust etc with VHT Aggressive Strip Fast Paint Remover (SP-575). Sand previously painted surfaces lightly and clean with a high grade solvent such as VHT Brake Cleaner & Degreaser (SP-11) and allow to dry before spraying.

2. Mask areas not to be painted, and cover surrounding areas to protect them from overspray.

3. Spray at room temperature in area with adequate ventilation. DO NOT APPLY AT TEMPERATURES BELOW 70F (21C).

4. For maximun adhesion and color consistency we recommend applying VHT Prime Coat Sandable Primer (SP-301 thru SP-306) within 24 hours of exposing bare metal.

5. SHAKE CAN WELL for about one minute after ball rattles. Repeat this procedure occasionally during the application.

6. Hold can 12-16 inches from the surface. Apply thin, even coats. For best results apply coats in 20 minute intervals. Dries to the touch in 30 minutes. Allow 24 hours to dry thoroughly before handling.

7. If clogging develops, remove spray button with a twisting motion and clean. DO NOT stick pin or other object into can. Gently replace spray button with a twisting motion with top of can and spray button opening pointing away from you.

8. Clean spray button immediately after use by turning can upside down and pressing spray button until no paint comes out.
