VHT Vinyl Dye

1. To ensure an attractive and durable finish, clean surface thoroughly. Remove grease, grime, silicone treatments etc. For best results, surfaces should be prepared with VHT Vinyl & Plastic Prep Cleaner(SP-39).

2. Mask areas not to be sprayed, and cover surrounding areas to protect them from overspray.

3. Spray at room temperature in area with adequate ventilation. DO NOT APPLY AT TEMPERATURES BELOW 70¢ªF (21¢ªC).

4. SHAKE CAN WELL for one minute after ball rattles. Repeat this procedure occasionally during the application.

5. VINYL- Apply thin even coats in a crosshatch pattern. Apply successive coats only until the desired color is obtained. Let dry 72 hours, then clean with VHT Vinyl & Plastic Prep Cleaner(SP-39). SHORT NAP CARPET - Spray surface in one direction with long even strokes. Brush freshly sprayed carpet with a stiff nylon brush, immediately spray the surface in opposite direction, brush again. Repeat this process only until smooth even color has been obtained. Allow to dry overnight. Before using newly dyed surface, test with a soft cloth checking for wet spots. Vacuum thoroughly before use.

6. If dye sags or runs you are too close or applying too heavily.

7. If clogging develops, remove spray button with a twisting motion and clean. DO NOT stick pin or other objects into can. Gently replace spray button with a twisting motion with top of can and spray button opening pointing away from you.

8. Clean spray button immediately after use by turning can upside down and pressing spray button until no paint comes out.
